This role is ideal for a professional with a background in politics or communications who has a strong understanding of the news media, content creation, and client relations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and creative — someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to high-profile projects. Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing client accounts, ensuring the execution of strategic public relations plans.
  • Support crisis communications efforts with research, messaging development, and rapid response coordination.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop innovative PR campaigns and strategic messaging.
  • Manage timelines, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure high-quality execution of client projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts
  • Draft and distribute press materials.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in public relations, political communications, or media relations.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage data and media trackers, and design client reports.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills; ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience in content creation, including social media and press materials.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Familiarity with policy perspectives and an understanding of the political media landscape.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a keen eye for detail.
