What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Conduct professional and courteous interviews and follow-up calls to gather personal and medical information
- Accurately enter data into the Application Interview System (AIS) and Assistant Underwriting System (AURA)
- Provide prompt and professional service to all inquiries received by phone or in writing
- Resolve problems and expedite business by effectively communicating with underwriting staff and other departments
- Communicate App Assist policies, procedures, and guidelines to internal and external customers
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative or customer service experience
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented with a solid understanding of medical terminology
- Proficient in data entry and customer service
- Ability to maintain a private office space and connect a computer to a router
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- 3+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Comfort with medical vocabulary and terminology
