Partnership & Engagement Lead

• Remote part-time role: Partnership & Engagement Lead (Schools)
• 1 day or 2 half days/week (with potential to grow)
• Starting: May first week

Grandshake is on a mission to help young people across Australia build real-world skills, explore career paths, and connect with future opportunities. We work with schools, students, and industry partners to make that happen.

Now, we’re looking for someone to help us grow our reach and impact – starting with schools.

We’re a small, passionate team. You’ll be working directly with our founder and playing a key role in growing our student user base through school partnerships and community engagement.

What you’ll do

• Reach out to high schools across Australia (mostly online or phone) to build partnerships and get Grandshake in front of students
• Craft and send engaging outbound emails that actually get opened and replied to
• Set up and lead intro calls with career practitioners and school leadership
• Write clear, snappy LinkedIn posts (1–2 per week) to share wins and grow visibility
• Create newsletters that speak to schools and convert them into long-term partners

What we’re looking for

• Someone who gets marketing and growth
• You’re a confident communicator over email, on calls, and in writing
• Strong copywriting skills – you know how to keep it short, sharp and engaging
• Experience working with schools or in the education space is a bonus
• You’re organised, proactive and good at juggling a few things at once

The details

• Remote role, part-time (1 full day or 2 half days per week to start)
• Flexible hours, outcome-focused
• Potential to grow to 2 days/week after 3 months
• You'll work closely with our founder and be supported by our small, agile team
