We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Remote IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to our organization’s staff. In this remote role, you will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems across our remote workforce.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote technical support to employees via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, software, and peripherals for employees.
  • Assist with setting up remote access tools, VPNs, and other network solutions.
  • Monitor and respond to IT service requests and tickets in a timely manner.
  • Ensure security protocols are followed, including antivirus updates and data protection.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on using software, hardware, and IT tools effectively.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Document solutions and maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions.
  • Assist in software updates, patches, and system upgrades as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT support or related roles, with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and productivity software (MS Office, Google Workspace).
  • Familiarity with remote desktop tools and virtual collaboration platforms.
  • Strong understanding of network configurations, VPNs, and cloud-based services.
  • Excellent communication skills to provide clear technical guidance and support remotely.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
