IT Support Specialist

Job Title: IT Support Specialist (US Citizen Only) Location: Remote We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, printers, and other peripherals.
• Manage user accounts and access permissions in various systems.
• Troubleshoot network issues and ensure the stability and performance of the network infrastructure.
• Conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure the security and efficiency of IT systems.
• Assist with the setup and support of audiovisual equipment for meetings and presentations.
• Document technical procedures and create user guides for common issues and processes.
• Collaborate with other IT staff to implement new technologies and improve existing systems.
• Provide training and support to users to help them effectively use IT resources.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as common software applications.
• Experience with network administration and troubleshooting (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience in IT security practices and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
• Required Security clearance
