Airports Council International (ACI) World, in collaboration with travel tech leader Amadeus, has announced the 2024 winners of the ASQ Airport Experience Awards, recognized as the gold standard for measuring airport service quality.
The ASQ Awards are based on data from the largest global survey dedicated to airport experiences, capturing real-time feedback from travelers through live surveys conducted at airports worldwide. This rigorous methodology ensures an accurate reflection of diverse passenger experiences, providing the only survey that allows for fair comparisons among airports.
Highlights from the 2024 ASQ Awards
The year 2024 marked a significant milestone for the ASQ program, with nearly 700,000 completed surveys and over half of the world's travelers visiting ASQ-rated airports. A record 181 ASQ Awards were given to 95 airports globally, celebrating their commitment to exceptional passenger service.

Several airports achieved ASQ Awards in all five departure categories:
- Africa: Dakar Blaise Diagne International Airport
- Asia-Pacific: Beijing Daxing International Airport, Singapore Changi Airport, Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman International Airport, Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport
- Europe: Milas-Bodrum Airport, Rome Fiumicino Airport
- Latin America: Chihuahua International Airport, Mazatlán International Airport, Monterrey International Airport
- Middle East: Salalah Airport
- North America: Gerald R. Ford International Airport, Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport
2024 Inductees into the ACI World Director General’s Roll of Excellence
This prestigious accolade celebrates airports that have shown consistent excellence in service over the last decade. This year, ten airports were honored, including:

- Copenhagen Airport
- El Hierro Airport
- Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
- Inverness Airport
- Jenderal Ahmad Yani International Airport

ACI World Director General Justin Erbacci stated, “In today’s fast-evolving world, where passenger expectations are higher than ever, airports must continually push the boundaries of service to stay ahead. The 2024 ASQ Awards honor airports that create memorable, seamless experiences that transform the entire passenger journey and help shape the future of air travel.”

Looking Forward: The 2024 ASQ Awards Ceremony
The awards will be celebrated at the ACI World Airport Experience Summit in Guangzhou, China, from September 8-11, 2025. This premier event will gather industry thought leaders, experts, and innovators to explore the future of customer and employee experiences, sharing pioneering strategies and insights.
