Customer Service Operations Specialist - Tourism / Travel Industry

TBO.COM - a global travel-tech organization is excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Consultant to join our vibrant international remote team. If you have excellent verbal, writing, and communication skills in English, we would love to hear from you!

We're on the lookout for an independent, self-driven individual with experience in handling FIT bookings for hotels or equivalent experience in the travel industry. Proficiency in English and at least one additional language from Italian or French is essential.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage our online reservations system
• Tackle last-minute and on-spot booking challenges with ease
• Assist travel agents via incoming calls and manage reservations seamlessly
• Negotiate customer needs with suppliers and individuals through outgoing calls to find the best solutions
• Handle complex cases while coordinating with multiple stakeholders simultaneously
• Operate multiple online systems concurrently, providing top-notch service to travel agents (B2B)
• Resolve operational and administrative cases/tasks from start to finish within SLA

Qualifications

• A solid background in the Travel industry is essential (minimum 2 years experience in a similar role)
• Flexibility to work in shifts and during weekends (5 working days out of 7 per week)
• Quick adaptability to new technologies, products, and procedures
• Ability to work as an Independent Consultant (VAT) is a plus
• Proficiency in English (C1 or C2) and one additional language Italian or French at the same level (C1 or C2) is mandatory
