With science-backed products, a fresh brand voice, and a mission to disrupt outdated approaches, this team is scaling quickly. They are now looking for a Junior Creative Strategist to power their growth through high-performing creative insights.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the ad engine behind a beauty brand that’s gaining serious traction.

YOUR MISSION

Your mission is to dive deep into performance marketing data, customer psychology, and market trends to uncover the exact message and creative hook that converts the next wave of customers. You will be the team's relentless researcher, responsible for synthesizing competitor analysis and consumer insights into actionable creative angles that fuel the ad machine.

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO

  • Conduct deep-dive market research on customer pain points, competitor messaging, and successful direct-response ad creative across all major platforms (TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
  • Become the team’s expert on D2C and e-commerce trends, continuously sharing insights on what’s working now to inform the entire creative strategy
  • Analyze the brand's existing ad copy and creative performance, noting key patterns and opportunities for iteration and A/B testing
  • Support the founder by organizing and maintaining a library of creative insights and winning angles to keep the ad engine ahead of the curve.
  • Assist the video editing and creative team by providing context and angles to help them understand the briefing process and the core mechanics of a high-converting advertisement

WHO YOU ARE

  • Driven by Curiosity: You possess an intense curiosity for why certain ads work and have the initiative to relentlessly seek out the answer. You proactively look for the next problem to solve and the next opportunity to learn.
  • Teachable and Curious: You are obsessed with learning about D2C, e-commerce, and high-performance marketing, and you actively seek out feedback and new knowledge
  • A Natural Copywriter: You have a genuine passion for words and persuasive copy, understanding that the right message unlocks massive growth
  • Research Master: You have excellent, proven research skills and the ability to find, organize, and synthesize critical market data into actionable insights
  • E-commerce Aware: You have a foundational understanding of how the D2C e-commerce model works and what drives a customer’s decision to purchase

Bonus points if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Prior experience or a strong portfolio showcasing personal projects related to copywriting or social media content
  • A strong personal interest or background in the beauty, scalp, or hair care industry
