Description Leap’s mission is to combat climate change by enabling a reliable electric grid that runs on clean energy. The electric grid is transforming from dirty (but predictable) fossil fuels to clean (but less predictable) renewable energy. To do so, the grid needs more flexible demand and supply to help maintain stability and reliability. Leap plays a crucial role in opening up wholesale energy markets to all distributed energy resources, enabling our partners to get paid for providing flexibility to the grid. Leap is a privately-held tech company with funding from top VCs and well-known energy entrepreneurs. We are a remote distributed workplace with teammates based across the globe, in Europe and North America Overview We’re seeking an associate level professional to support Leap’s partnerships with energy developers, aggregators and technology providers. As a Partner Success Associate, your focus will be on managing a portfolio of Leap’s starter partners and supporting key business functions to deliver value to Leap’s strategic partners. The Partner Success Associate’s responsibilities and activities will be dynamic and varied, spanning partner relations, Partner Success team function support, and energy market operations support. Key Responsibilities
- Support Onboarding of new partners
- Work closely with Business Development to ensure a smooth, consistent onboarding process for new partners and their end customers to integrate with Leap’s platform.
- Support the creation of a scalable, self-service onboarding process for Leap partners.
- Deliver value to existing partners
- Work closely with Platform Operations, Product and Markets teams to support partners’ operational needs - enrolling new customer meters, sizing and optimizing market nominations and bidding strategies, dispatching and testing energy assets and supporting partners to understand and diagnose performance to ensure optimal performance
- Focus on delivering on contractual obligations and optimizing value for your portfolio of partner accounts in a way that is scalable and automated.
- Maintain healthy partner relationships
- Develop and maintain strong partner communications, manage the connection of Leap touchpoints with key partner stakeholders, and identify opportunities to delight our partners
- Ensure strong retention and ongoing renewal of partner business while reducing energy asset/customer-level churn
- Tactically help partners expand their participation on Leap’s platform
- Support Partner Success leads in executing and tracking revenue growth opportunities across new customers, programs or markets in line with company goals and PSM targets
- Develop an automated and scalable delivery model to periodically assess growth opportunities with Leap’s “starter” partners and drive expansion in new markets.
- Scale and improve Leap’s ability to manage partner business
- Develop internal and external systems, processes and content that will enable streamlined delivery of services and an exceptional experience to our partners
- Collect and synthesize insights and input from our partners to provide product feedback to our product/engineering teams and improve product development and sales strategy
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with customer support, account management, customer success, or business operations
- Enjoy managing relationships with external stakeholders in partner organizations to understand their business models, needs, and requirements and to identify new opportunities for expanding our partnerships
- Possess strong project management, analytical and technical abilities
- Ideally (not required) have expertise in renewable energy project development, energy management solutions or wholesale energy markets
- Are a strategic thinker who can also dive into the details and loves to problem solve
- Ability to prioritize, juggle and execute tasks with an eye on delighting our partners and growing our value as a business
- Enjoy working collaboratively in a team with a diverse group of amazingly talented and fun people, but you are also capable of working independently in a fast-paced startup
- Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment or demonstrating the ability to be productive and engaged, manage time effectively, work independently and succeed in a fully remote environment.
- Experience working in a distributed teams environment or demonstrating the ability to virtually communicate and collaborate effectively with team members across multiple time zones, using remote communication tools such as Slack, Zoom and ClickUp (or other project management platforms)
