SIS Administrator

• 3+ years of experience as a PowerSchool Administrator
• Experience with various integrations within PowerSchool (Ecollect, Naviance, SchoolMessenger)
• Experience writing SQL queries
• Ability to work East Coast or Central Time zone hours

• Experience with school launch, report card setup and training within Canvas

Day-to-day:

Insight Global is seeking a Student Information Systems Administrator for one of our clients in the education management industry. Our client is a growing leader in the education space, operating schools and educational programs around the world that span the life cycle of a student from early learning to higher education. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a remote environment.

In this role you will be joining a team of eight other administrators supporting 120+ schools, with that number growing each and every year. You will be responsible for implementing and supporting the Student Information Systems across all school, detecting, diagnosing, reporting and correcting student data in the Student Information Systems, mainly Powerschool. This role requires strong technical skills with data analysis (importing and exporting data, using SQL queries), complex configurations and integrations both internally and externally. You will also manage the implementation of new schools/integrations coming into our clients while performing operational support for existing schools and integrations.

Additional Responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with enrollment and development teams to identify complex mapping of data into the Student Information System and overall learning ecosystem
• Understanding state specific requirement to appropriately set up the systems for accurate state reporting/funding
• Coordinating the day-to-day operations of PowerSchool
• Working closely with school staff, administrators, and school operations to address system anomalies, accurate problem interpretation and timely resolution to minimize impact to student learning and experience
• Perform routine maintenance and application updates on district servers
• Implement and integrate tools within PowerSchool

$80,000 to $85,000 per year annual salary.
