Elevate is recruiting for a Business Development Manager (AUS) to contribute to our continued success and help drive long-term, profitable growth. This is a virtual position based in Australia within our Sales & Account Management function. As a Business Development Manager, you will serve as a primary customer liaison and execute strategies that retain and grow Elevate’s key accounts.

Specifically, you will

• Business Development: drive revenue growth by identifying cross-sell and expansion opportunities within designated, existing accounts. Develop retention and expansion strategies.

• Account Management: Operate as the key point of contact, coordination, and escalation for various customers and stakeholders of an account, and across all Business Units.

• Strategic Planning: Create and execute strategic account plans that deliver on customer objectives and Elevate strategies.

• Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with key accounts to understand and address their business needs, priorities, goals and challenges.

• Governance: Conduct regular business reviews with customers to assess their satisfaction, identify and address areas for improvement and uncover opportunities for growth.

• Administration: Assist with account administration activities such as contracting, reporting and project management.

• Problem Solving: Address customer issues promptly and effectively, collaborating with stakeholders to identify and deliver solutions.

• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Sales, Services and Marketing to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to serving key accounts.

• Innovation: Drive a culture of learning and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to evolve to deliver greater value to customers.

• Analytics: Track and report on key account metrics, such as revenue growth, retention, and customer satisfaction.

• Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions and competitors to provide valued insights and recommendations to customers.

Experience

• Experience in business development or strategic account management (3+ years) and demonstrable success growing high-profile client accounts.

• History of achieving/exceeding a quota or performance targets.

• Managing sales cycle that can be complex, including drafting agreements and negotiating contractual terms.

• Professional experience in the legal services industry.

• Knowledge of the legal industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices in account management.

• Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant systems/tools.

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or an industry-related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or an industry-related field preferred.
