About the Role
ProPharma is seeking a Native Mandarin-speaking Medical Information Specialist to join our Medical Information Contact Center. This role involves responding to medical inquiries, handling adverse event reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while supporting pharmaceutical clients.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Medical Information & Customer Support
- Respond to inquiries from healthcare professionals, consumers, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and digital platforms.
- Provide accurate, compliant medical and safety information based on approved resources.
- Translate and deliver medical information responses between English and Mandarin, both verbally and in writing.
🔹 Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Accurately document and report adverse events, pregnancy reports, product complaints, and special situations in line with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all responses meet ProPharma’s quality standards and client-specific policies.
- Conduct quality checks on translations and inquiry handling.
🔹 General Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Inquiry Handling System.
- Participate in after-hours coverage on a rotational basis.
- Adhere to company policies on data privacy, confidentiality, and health & safety.
Requirements
✅ Qualifications & Experience:
- Registered Pharmacist in China, Taiwan, or Australia.
- Full work rights in Australia (Visa sponsorship is NOT available).
- Experience working in China or Taiwan’s pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
- Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Nursing (RN/BS/BA/MS).
✅ Skills & Competencies:
- Native Mandarin speaker with fluent English proficiency.
- Strong translation skills (English <> Mandarin).
- Excellent verbal and written communication, professional etiquette, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, and regulatory standards.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively under strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
