Do you have a strong retail background working with major US retailers?Are you experienced in managing key national accounts and driving sales growth?Are you looking to take on a new challenge within Toy?

Macgregor Black are partnering with a well-established Toy Company on the search for a Senior National Account Manager. This is a remote role based in USA.

As the Senior National Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving the company's growth across national retail accounts, establishing and nurturing relationships with major retailers, and managing day-to-day account activities to maximise sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow relationships with key national retailers in the USA.
  • Develop and implement account strategies to achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Negotiate and execute contracts, ensuring favourable terms for both parties.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective product assortment, merchandising, and promotional strategies.
  • Provide leadership in account management, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyse market trends, consumer behaviours, and competitive activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive insights for senior leadership.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong retail background with experience working with major retailers in the USA, ideally within the toy or consumer goods sector.
  • Proven track record in account management, including driving sales and profitability across key accounts.
  • Ideal candidate comes from a small/medium-sized business environment, bringing a hands-on, adaptable approach.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • A merchandising background is a bonus, with the ability to optimise in-store product displays and promotions.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
