Risk Information Officer

The Opportunity Are you a creative and driven individual looking for the next challenge? Our Findex Risk Management Team are seeking a talented and experienced Risk Information Officer to join our high performing team. This is a permanent full-time position, ideally based in Canberra, but can be based anywhere in Australia for the right candidate.  The role will provide operational and strategic data and information analysis across risk management and a wide range of other functions, including internal audit, emergency and continuity management, privacy and modern slavery activities.  What will your typical week look like?

• Identify, collect and review a wide range of risk and other information to produce quality reports and guidance
• Assist with risk and control assessments, risk management functions, internal audit, emergency and continuity management, modern slavery and privacy activities
• Assist with the development of statistical, dashboard, Executive and Board reporting 
• Contribute to numerous initiatives through effective collaboration with the team and a wide variety of stakeholders

• Strong ability to bring together information from various sources with a high attention to detail to convey a narrative
• Able to work well within a team especially on shared projects, collaborating positively with the team and a broad stakeholder group.
• Ability to undertake risk assessments, workshops, reporting and both technical and non-technical discussions
• Working knowledge of risk management methodologies including risk identification and assessment, control testing and reporting (in accordance with the Standard)
