Overview

Our client is looking for a Software Support Finance Specialist who is passionate about finance, technology, and customer service. In this role, you'll receive comprehensive training and join a dynamic, high-caliber customer care team committed to delivering outstanding support experiences.

This position is ideal for someone with an accounting or financial management background who is eager to transition into the technology sector.

While the role is based in Brisbane, candidates from other states are encouraged to apply, as the position is primarily remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide phone and email support for finance and payroll-related products.
• Triage and manage customer inquiries using a case management system.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, escalating bug reports when necessary.
• Assist in software testing and contributing to system improvements.
• Develop self-service resources to support schools in finance-related processes.
• Handle customer support calls, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.

Skills

• Strong understanding of accounts and accounting ledgers.
• Experience in an accounts role (school finance experience is a plus!).
• Familiarity with web-based finance products (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-first approach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
• Prior exposure to TASS.web Finance and/or Payroll is highly regarded.
